Home Health Aide

Duties and Responsibilities:
Home health aides usually work for companies that provide in-home assistance to ill, injured, elderly, or disabled patients. Their duties include taking blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients. They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress. They will also prepare and serve meals as well as doing chores such as making beds and cleaning rooms.
Average Salary:  $8,000 - $18,000
Educational Requirements:
Most employers prefer that the nursing aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some schools or community colleges offer training programs.

I think this would be a good career for me because I enjoy helping people when they need it.
