“There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience”

French Proverb

I guess what this means is that having a clear conscience is better than a soft pillow. Having a clear conscience is a good thing because then you won’t regret what you have done in the past and you don’t reflect back to the situation and think what would have happened if you done things differently. If you do well then you won’t have to reflect back to things you can move on with your life and not worry about the past just keep continuing the path of choosing the right. I think a good example would be lying if you lie to people even those really close to you your conscience isn’t well it starts making you feel guilty and unhappy. Now if you decide to admit to the person you lied to your conscience would be cleared and you would feel better even if it means getting in trouble.
