“Choosing the right is always the right thing to do.”
Alex Linares

I believe this quote is true because doing what is right at all times is a great advantage to you. You feel confident and good about yourself and you don’t have to worry about regrets and mistakes you have made. For example let’s say you go out with some friends and one of those friends are the a good influence on you and he/she decides to shoplift so everyone else in the group decides to do it as well, instead of doing what the crowd is doing you end up not shoplifting and they get caught you will be the one who won’t get in trouble and end up feeling good about yourself.

I learned to be more independent and to choose my friends wisely. I do however speak to many people but most of them are just acquaintance not really a good friend of mine. I only have a selective few groups of friends who are a good influence on me. The friends I hang out with want to succeed in life. And those are the types of people I surround myself with.

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”
Ezra T. Benson

What this means to me is regardless of what you are doing wrong, whether it is to impress your friends or just act tough if you do something wrong you are not going to feel right about it. I think an example will be if you steal from someone especially someone you know and you know they are very upset that they think they lost whatever it is you stole. In the end you are going to end up feeling guilty and you won’t have a good conscious.
